We are thrilled to welcome Jennifer Barr, ASP, to our team as a Risk Business Partner. With over five years of experience in the risk management industry, Jennifer brings a wealth of knowledge and expertise to our Risk Management Department.

Key Responsibilities

Jennifer is responsible for promoting our Company's high level of customer service commitments by protecting employees from work-related injuries, ensuring their prompt return to work, helping clients control workers’ compensation expenses, and supporting compliance with safety regulations such as OSHA, DOT, and EPA.

• Regulatory Compliance: She ensures adherence to regulations by developing and maintaining Health and Safety Plans that surpass both Federal and State OSHA standards. She also oversees drug and alcohol testing programs in alignment with DOT regulations.
• Injury Oversight: Jennifer skillfully handles injury investigations in accordance with OSHA guidelines. She establishes improved workplace safety practices, expedites employee return-to-work timelines, manages injury claim costs, and implements controls for workers' compensation expenses.

Professional Experience

Jennifer has provided safety services, including ergonomic assessments, safety inspections, program development, and risk and safety training. She has worked with municipalities, nonprofits, housing authorities, and special districts. Previously, she served as a health and safety specialist at a utility tree trimming contractor, where she managed incidents, Workers' Compensation claims, and return-to-work programs. She was also responsible for maintaining the company’s injury and illness prevention plan and pandemic preparedness contingency plan. Jennifer conducted workplace inspections, monitored safety training compliance, and assisted in environmental, social, and governance reporting.
